3rd Annual Mother Daughter High Tea Contest

In honor of Mother’s Day, CAWLM wants to know what you love and admire about your mother or other mother figure.

Fifteen winners will be selected from the entered essays to attend the Mother Daughter High Tea with the woman they nominated on Saturday, May 1, 2010, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The winners will also win two tickets each to a special Mother’s Day concert by The Harry James Orchestra at the Charlotte Performing Arts Center and be featured in CAWLM’s May issue.

From the 15 the mothers attending the High Tea, one winner will be drawn to win CAWLM’s Mother’s Day Giveaway drawing. The winner will be drawn at the High Tea. Winner must be present to win.

Why do you love and admire your mother/mother figure (300 words or less):

Anyone who has won a prize from CAWLM is ineligible to win for 30 days. Only one winner per street address will be permitted for the duration of the contest. Persons from households where an individual has won a prize valued at $500 or more is ineligible to participate in any CAWLM major contest for one year.

You must be 16 years or older to be eligible to win.

Employees of CAWLM and members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate in any CAWLM contest. Employees of any sponsor or agency involved with CAWLM are also ineligible to participate, as are their respective families.

CAWLM reserves the right to any video, audio, photographic or print material which involves the winner(s) or their families for promotional use without further permission. All winners agree to participate with CAWLM and its advertising agencies in publicizing or broadcasting winners names, winnings, their picture or character without further compensation. Winners will be solely responsible for the payment of any and all expenses and taxes associated with receipt of any prize.

All winners agree to hold harmless CAWLM, and all of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from all losses, damages, penalties, claims, actions, suits, costs and expenses of any kind whatsoever, including property damage, personal injury or death to any participant or third party arising out of or in connection with participation in the contest or with the use of any prize awarded in connection with the contest, by action of accepting their awarded prize.

All decisions of CAWLM management with regard to the awarding of prizes, the selection of the winner and the interpretation of these rules shall be final. Each contestant, by virtue of entering the contest, agrees to accept the CAWLM decision as final.
