Man’s best friend took over the streets of downtown Williamston when the Williamston Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the Dog Days of Summer event Thursday and Friday, Aug. 4-5. Folks from all over brought their furry friends to enjoy a variety of activities including a tail-wagging contest, pet parade, pet costume contest, pet pools, grooming and lots more.
